On 23 July we left Sun City for Forest City, IA to the Winnebago Factory to have some work done on our motor home. We had appointments Friday and Monday, this left the weekend free. That Sunday we visited Lakshmi in Des Moines, IA. We had a nice visit, her parents were also there, visiting from India. Lakshmi and Mahesh were in the process of building a very nice new house in Des Moines and we had the opportunity to see it, which was about 85% complete. It's large with some very nice features such as geothermal heating/cooling.
Their two young girls got a big kick out of Millie; they want a dog and got some first hand experience in walking a dog.
Poor dad is expected to pick up after their dog, they did not like that part of having a dog. The day there went quickly and we had to go back to Forest City for our 7am Monday morning service appointment.
